Maria: Can I ask you something? Talos: Okay, I get it. But strength is no use against me hex power. You're talking about destroying them because they won't submit to your rule. James Rhodes: Biker (The Don): On the flight down, the pod begins to break, and Vers is forced out and is thrown down into a Blockbuster store], [The scene changes to the inside of an empty Blockbuster store. Freeing you to do what all Kree must. The Torfa populace; we are not to interfere with them nor them with us. [Scene changes to a flashback of the inside the airplane, with Vers in the cockpit and Lawson directly behind her. [brings out the bike keys and hands over his jacket while still struggling in pain] That's it! Vers absorbs the energy, with the flames creating ripples around her. Agent: All I know is that we take him in too. Vers then runs around the ship, trying to find an exit, while fighting of the Skrulls, before she is stuck between two parties of advancing Skrulls]. Vers: Vers to Star Force Command. So is it true? [The scene changes to show Vers leaning against her car outside of an airplane hanger, with Goose walking towards her. Horrors that you remember and so much that you do not. Yon-Rogg: First impressions are everything in the entertainment industry. Maria Rambeau: You've been caught once already. Monica then changes the colors to match her shirt. Fury: You think I'm one of those green things. Where are you hurt? Nick Fury: Fury steps off and walks away while the Director stays in the elevator. [The camera pans out to show the car arriving at a bunker. Leave the lunch box. Do you have the thing? You woke me up banging on my door at dawn. Species: Human Male. We'll blast them all into space. Eventually, Yon-Rogg appears walking towards Vers and Lawson. At the same time, the Accusers arrive outside Earth's atmosphere. [Maria closes the door, but Vers continues to stare at Tom. [The fighting between Carol and Yon-Rogg restarts with Yon-Rogg throwing loose pieces of metal at Carol telepathically. Keller: [Monica runs off to retrieve Vers' jacket. Helpless. Your usual move. [Camera switches back to Vers standing in the phone booth. Natasha Romanoff: There were three films with Bigelow, Blue Steel, Point Break and Strange Days; Kevin Costner's western epic Wyatt Earp; Scorsese's Bringing out the Dead; and Carl Franklin's Devil in a Blue . [The Skrull taps Vers on the forehead twice, before noticing that Vers' metal restraints are beginning to glow orange], [Vers begins free from the restraints and begins to fight the Skrulls, one of the Skrulls raises their weapon, but General Talos lowers it], [Vers fights the Skrulls in the room, before confronting Talos. [whispers to Goose] Is my universal translator working? [The two fist bump, and Carol teasingly electrocutes Fury, laughs it off. Monica Rambeau (11 Years Old): I just think that you should consider the kind of example you're setting for your daughter. Way before you could shoot fire from your fists. [showing her a coded journal] For emergencies only. Actors should train hard and work hard, and then never stop training. Maria Rambeau: Vell. I know a renegade soldier when I see one. agent? The Air Force still wasn't letting women fly combat, so testing Lawson's planes was our only shot at doing something that mattered. The scene changes again, this time to Vers standing outside of the Cafe holding a map. Fury drops Goose, At Avengers Headquarters, Fury's pager shuts off while Rogers and Romanoff view the increasing casualties of Thanos' Decimation in the war room, Romanoff turns around and suddenly sees Carol, Goose suddenly scratches Fury in his left eye, Vers and Fury enter the fifth floor of the Project Pegasus facility when a cat approaches them, an infant Skrull shows off her high-score on pinball; 968,400, Vers breaks free from the memory reading device and attacks nearby Skrull soldiers before cornering Talos, as Fury goes to take the pager, Carol pulls back her hand, Vers enters a train, looking for the Skrull sniper that attacked her. Carol Danvers: Witness says she was dressed for laser tag. I'm sorry to report that we still haven't found the Tesseract. Carol Danvers: Cool name for a cool cat. It's still plugged in. No one can look upon the Supreme Intelligence in its true form. She was working on a unique energy core. She looks at the Earth one last time before flying inside the spaceship. Maria Rambeau: We talking cheek swab or urine sample? Yon-Rogg: Then I see no reason to prolong this conversation. The agents continue to search, even walking past were Vers and Fury were hiding, but the duo are already in the cockpit], [Vers purposefully plays with a few switches, causing the engine to roar to life and the wings to extend], [The Director hears the engine come to life and turns around to see the plane alive. Take me to bed or lose me forever! The director of SHIELD then steps out of the passenger side door of the first car]. Supreme Intelligence: Quickly, the kettle begins to boil, blowing steam out and making a whistling noise]. The coordinates you found, would've powered a lightspeed ship capable of carrying us to safety. Carol simply blasts her energy down the overpass, causing the metal to snap and four Kree to be incapacitated. Steve Rogers: Auntie Carol is right. Carol Danvers: Not unlike the file I started on you. Blue blood running through my veins. I don't even know what 'Vers'? The core that powered it is in a remote location. We discovered that your energy signature matched Mar-Vell's core. The accusors will bomb a Skrull stronghold here in the south. Carol Danvers: Keep the Tesseract on Earth. Wonderful view, isn't it? Talos: Why would I turn into a filing cabinet? Nick Fury: I want you to be the best version of yourself. Korath: I laugh on the inside. Maria Rambeau: Yon-Rogg: No, no codes. Fury heads for his car and calls out Coulson], [Supreme Intelligence grabs the Tesseract]. You're really working overtime to sell this one, aren't you Talos? Carol Danvers: Vers: Oh, I'll be out of your hair as soon as I track down the Skrulls which are infiltrating your planet. What it's for? Fury: I'm about five seconds from complicating that wall with some ugly-ass Skrull brains. Bruce Banner: Carol Danvers: Come here. I knew her. Carol quickly escapes and runs towards the energy source. Both Vers and Fury turn to see Goose pushed against a crate], [Vers then stops the plane from gaining altitude and Goose pushes himself off the crate, onto his four legs. Proceed with caution. Umm, I'm still here at the Blockbuster and where did everybody go? Dr. Wendy Lawson: Maria Rambeau: This is that moment. [learning the lunchbox in Carol's possession is empty] Fury: My mom. The scene then changes back to the inside of the house, with Carol and Maria sitting opposite each other at a table]. Hold on! Carol Danvers: Soren: It's okay. Hold on. [The scene suddenly changes back to inside the Supreme Intelligence building and the wires slide back to underneath Vers' feet. But look, I just need your help decoding some coordinates. And neither will I. I'm afraid I'm gonna need proof. To some, it's about trying to find the magic in your life. They believe that she developed a light-speed engine at Pegasus. But technically I don't remember that part. Because all the shooting kinda gave me the wrong impression! Hidden. Oh, what? It's imperative that you turn up for each opportunity prepared and with confidence. Each fight only lasts a few seconds, but always results in Carol dominating], [Maria picks up a gun and fires until Goose opens his mouth and the tentacles take the kree soldiers, beat them up and swallowed them]. Carol Danvers: A race of noble warriors? This is What If Peggy Carter got the super soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers. The computer shows different images from her interrogation before it sparks and Vers removes the USB. Look, war is a universal language. Hey. Not Joseph. Nick Fury: Carol: I used to believe your lies. Last time we talked, I ended up hanging from my ankles. Vers: We're looking for a woman named Lawson. Stan Lee: Congratulations to you Star Force Lady. The Kree divulges it ever. They told me it was destroyed in the crash. I prefer the view from up there. She's Kree. As a quick and easy way to explore Steve's thoughts and feelings, Captain America's iconic inner monologues are an excellent narrative tool. [The scene changes to a black car driving through an empty highway next to a mountain, before changing to the inside of the car showing Fury driving and Vers in the passenger seat]. Arm-wrestle for the Tesseract. [The Skrull disguised as Coulson draws his weapon and points it towards Fury. Because I remember. But, now you're saying she's from another planet. No, you destroyed the engine. Has a Skrull ever simmed you? Maria Rambeau: Cover her eyes. Put your people's needs before your own. She looks at the passengers and notices someone reading the script to Mallrats]. Maria evades the bullets with ease and takes a shortcut, allowing her to be in front of Minn-Erva's pod and destroy it with blasts. [keeps moaning while a startled Coulson moves his hand to her knee] Nick Fury: You want me to get you an oven mitt? [Carol pushes down a lever, causing the plane to suddenly climb further into the sky. Huh Goose? It could be you. Captain America is not here to lead the country. Supreme Intelligence: On Hala, you were reborn. [Vers tries to walk off, but Fury steps in front of her]. We discovered that your energy signature matched Mar-Vell's core. I just wanna talk. You have a chance to fly the coolest mission in the history of missions. [approaches towards Danvers, shoves the map out of her face] But you cheated, took a shortcut. Big hero moment. So, um, what do Skrulls want with Dr. Lawson? Talos: Yon-Rogg: [The camera pans over all the photos which Monica has shown and is showing to Vers. Now the handful of us that are left, will be slaughtered nextunless you will help me finish what Mar-Vell started. Range should be, a couple galaxies, at least. However, the plane is hit and the wing bursts into flames. You are smart, and funny, and a huge pain in the ass, and you were the most powerful person I knew. Kree Computer: Supreme Intelligence: The camera is pointed towards the nose of a plane and the hangar door is opening. [Vers and Fury arrive at the Records room of the Project Pegasus facility]. [Carol opens the lunch box, revealing the Tesseract while Fury removes Goose's muzzle]. Yon-Rogg: That's my blood that's coursing through her veins. Yon-Rogg: Well if that were true, you'd knock me down without them. Talos: Yon-Rogg: Ronan, Skrulls have infiltrated C-53. Yon-Rogg will catch up to me soon. Steve: I thought we bypassed the battery. When she turns around and sees a life-size poster, she shoots an energy blast towards it, causing the head to fall off and the neck to erupt in flames]. Vers: Name a detail so bizarre a Skrull could never fabricate it. [over the loud music of piano] And how is that supposed to prove to me you're not a Skrull? My real name, is Mar-Vell and I come from a planet called Hala. The camera switches between Vers at the shopping strip and Yon-Rogg on the ship]. Fury: Our little alliance with you is tenuous at best. Fury: What? That was dramatic! [a police officer approaches Vers to cuff her when Vers suddenly notices a Skrull sniper disguised as a human aiming at her and Fury. You were smart, and funny, and a huge pain in the ass. A fighter jet suddenly takes off from a tarmac. Agent Coulson: I'll give you $50 right now if you turn into a venus fly trap. Maria Rambeau: The camera pans out to show Fury petting Goose and Talos looking at him uncomfortably]. Take the Tesseract. [Vers puts the cap on, and looks at Fury annoyed], [Vers takes off the flannel shirt hanging around her waist and throws it into the car. Kree Star Force. General Talos (voiceover): Focus. You got a big decision to make. If a toast is cut diagonally, I can't eat it. She is revealed to be Talos' wife, Soren, to Carol during the chase with the Kree during the flashback scene, To Yon-Rogg, realizing who she is - unleashing her full power. Similarly, Goose is floating upside down until Fury extends his arm, which Goose eagerly grabs onto. That's a Flerken. Security Checkpoint: This is a government property, turn your vehicle around. Stop. Nick Fury: My mom. Supreme Intelligence: And yet, you've never had the strength to control them on your own. Before I knew what made you different from the others. All around the crash site, rocks are turned into dust and trees disintigrate. Pegasus, Dr. Wendy Lawson. Come at once. [hesitates for a while] Now, you know, I don't really need these to see but they do kinda complete the look. [The director points towards the men in the other cars before himself and Fury walk towards the elevators]. [Goose suddenly reveals tentacles from his mouth and uses them to grab the Tesseract and swallow it. [powering the engines up] No, no. Nick Fury: Finish what Mar-Vell started. I see flashes. We saved you. Lawson: Listen, I spent half my life fighting a shameful war. Bron-Char: And we have to pass the locals. You are just one victim of the Skrull expansion that has threatened our civilization for centuries. Monica: Maybe I can fly up and meet you halfway. Yeah, if that were true, you'd be able to knock me down without them. Carol Danvers: Nothing compromises the security of our mission.
