During the conference JASNA members explored the idea that Sense and Sensibility is a novel of duality, as well as a social satire directed at the leisure class of Regency England. Although the coronavirus pandemic prevented an in-person conference in 2020, our Virtual Annual General Meeting in many ways enhanced the feeling of camaraderie with fellow members while it gave us the opportunity to gain new insights into Austens youthful writings.
